On 12th of March, we welcomed foreign guests to the Faculty again: a group of 21 Italian high school graduates visited Bárczi, accompanied by two of their teachers.
The students are participating in health and social assistant training in their home country and arrived in Budapest within the framework of the Italian PCTO program (career orientation and professional internship program). On behalf of the Faculty, Attila Erdős, head of the international office, welcomed and accompanied the group.
The aim of the visit was for the students to learn about the specifics of Hungarian special needs education training. During the program, they received detailed information about the Faculty’s training programs in the form of a presentation, with particular attention to the English-language BA program launched last year, as well as its international relations. During the tour of the Faculty building, they visited the library, wrote a message on the message wall in the international corridor, and had the opportunity to take a “live” look at a university class.
At the end of the visit, there was still time to answer any questions the students had. We hope that the experiences they gained with us will contribute to their professional orientation, and we may even welcome them among our students in the future.
